Uranus in Gemini conjoins Sedna once again on 22 May. Sure that’s a few weeks out, but might as well get a leg up on it sooner than later. Both planetary players involved are slow movers and as such, their effects linger for quite some time before or after exactitude and often by months, not days or hours.

Sunset for Uranus in Gemini
Will this be the last conjunction between these bodies for a very long time? Technically, yes. But on 8 February 2027, Uranus stations, resuming prograde motion, and stands a mere 17 minutes short of an exact conjunction to Sedna. Given Sedna’s extremely long revolution around the Sun - revolution being a word Uranus covets - this is a conjunction. And it is a conjunction that is having its way with your psyche.
In reality, the Uranus to Sedna thang has been felt since the first time Uranus reached the last degree of Taurus for the first time - June of 2025. For those consciously reaching to the dwarf planets for insight and inspiration, probably this transit has been felt even longer.
What does all this mean?
Since we’ve first come to know of Sedna, I’ve pondered why she impulsively, instinctively stepped on the birdman’s kayak and allowed him to whisk her away to lands unknown - almost as if a voluntary deportation. According to the lore, going with the birdman evidently made sense and she engaged without hesitation.
Gemini continues to represent the both sides of the coin thing. You can’t have it both ways. And because of that, there can be no hedging of bets. Go for it or don’t. It’s entirely your choice and one that no one else, not even Yoda or Madame Blavatsky, can sort out for you. Decide, then do (sounds like Yoda). Regardless of the outcome, be clear on the circumstances that landed in your lap. If it’s heavy or unappealing, Uranus shimmers with the profound insight: Fine, life sucks. Take a different tack, but do so without second guessing yourself, and without harmful hesitation. Harmful hesitation being, over thinking the reckoning required to determine if this change is warranted. It’s not like this transit sets up shop in Gemini, for Pete’s sake.
Given the extremely lengthy orbit of Sedna, those seeking to engage Sedna effectively benefit from the use of remote viewing. When opportunities arise and one seeks to engage the fresh circumstances at hand, project long term into the future... at least six months, better a couple of years. Imagine yourself reaping the benefits of changes that result from the course taken now. Are there consequences that are not consistent with your objectives? Or is everything hunky dory? Fortunately, this remove view assessment can be done within the blink of an eye. Will the insight stand without deliberation and reconsideration? Of course not. But it prompts clarity sufficient to encourage decisiveness and subsequently supports the action demanded by the moment.
Sedna’s father, according to lore, constantly offered viable hunter-gatherer mate candidates for Sedna to pursue. And per the mythology, she rejected all her father’s suggestions. Consider that Sedna was well aware of the harsh environment in which she existed. No doubt she held speculations and projections of living somewhere she could thrive. Perhaps, she prayed for an opportunity to flee her dismal surroundings and further petitioned for a prompt to accept an opportunity in the moment it appears. What if, when the birdman rendered his “Oh woman, do I have what you want” petition, it seemed as if her prayers had been answered. She leapt at the opportunity to blow that pop stand.
According to the lore, she did not remote view into the future to see if how things would work out with her decision to pursue a better life. Google was not available. AI has not even a fleeting thought. Only the moment prevailed and the instinctive response it prompted within Sedna came into play.
All of us, during Uranus and Sedna confront such radical life choices. First, Sedna’s perihelion in Cancer enters the mix. The urgent matter at hand is always about life’s essential requirements: food, shelter, safety and fostering. If a situation appears that one senses offers more stability and comfort, the choice is obvious. When one secures the physical necessities of life, then Sedna’s nodal theme of Leo enters for more than equal consideration. Here, everything chosen must support ones ego, shifting any insecurity into commanding soulful confidence. With any decision that sniffs out with the opportunity vibe, these criteria require full consideration and not only in the moment... for consideration down the road, you know, when the new wears off the crystal chandelier.
The questions are:
Can you clearly ascertain what you really, really want?
Is what you want consistent with your soul urge and the purpose of this incarnation?
Can you assess opportunities the moment they appear?
Do you project forward and see if your consciousness green lights this pitch from life?
Should things not go as projected, can you consider that another change is required and this shift serves the agenda of better fulfilling your soulful purpose?
With the questions succinctly answer, then go with it!
More soon.
And to return to what you really, really want...
Recently, I decided that there is simply not enough specific delineative information regarding the female dwarf planets. Their mythology is a mixed bag and often portrays many of these goddesses in a less-than-ideal light. Yet their applications in modern society and the real world are profound. I created two mp3 recordings about these planets. Part 1 includes: Eris, Sedna, Haumea; Part 2 discusses: Ceres, Achlys, Salacia and more. Discussed in each session are the relevant astronomy of the objects, mythological notes and modern-day applications derived from the body's node and perihelia. Includes significant dwarf planet keywords and discusses transits to these objects happening in the next few years.
